JAZZ COMES TO BRUM 28.05.08

Screen grab of birminghamjazzfestival.com

We’ve just launched the new design for the 24th Birmingham Jazz Festival after a revamp of last year’s initial site.

It’s in-keeping with the brand identity we launched then, too, but the design’s been reworked to allow for more content and we’ve added in some social networking elements to encourage the next generation of jazz fans and festival-goers to participate online, as well as by attending.

Have a look here, we’ll be continuing to add to it over the coming months. We’d also be interested to know what you think of the site, too!

MMM... STEAKY... 29.02.08

Screen grab of steakandbjday.co.uk

The things we find ourselves getting involved with... We’ve just launched the very first stage (i.e. animated holding page) of steakandbjday.co.uk, a project we’re collaborating on with young Birmingham entrepreneur, Matt Roberts.

The idea is an alternative, male oriented Valentines Day, called Steak and BJ Day, in which the attentive partner receives the two things in the title on the 14th March.

It’s something we’ve helped Matt import from the States, but added a little British refinement to it, moving it away from the trucker/trailer trash image it has in the US by giving it a Victorian theme after reading about Henry Spencer Ashbee, one of the most eminent Victorian pornographers! More content will be coming in the next couple of weeks...

Screen grab of ericasharpe.co.uk

We’ve just finished the web site for fine jeweller, Erica Sharpe. The job’s been a testament to remote working, as we’ve never met Erica, only liaised with our client via phone and email, but still created an on-brand, on-time, relevant solution for her. Check the site out here.

Screen grab of The Moon The Eye web site

We’ve just completed the site themoontheeye.co.uk for London independent filmmaker and film-teacher, Mister Young. It’s a Flash driven portfolio site, with a creepy theme based on the short film the site’s named after. It’s been a great job to work on and Mister Young has been a pleasure to work with.
